That was an awesome video! I loved how Maxwell drove right at Jordan after the alley oop and then started talking some more noise after MJ fouled him. We would've kicked their asses. I remember when people actually though Stacey King was gonna be good. Wasn't he the first guy that Jordan "Kwame-ed?" I wasn't living in Texas during the first championship run so I couldn't get the Maxwell jersey I desperately coveted. I had to a "settle," for an Olajuwon jersey (which I bought in Phoenix ). 5 stars.
if you don't like watching vintage Rockets highlights, you can always find Jordan highlights on youtube. go google who won that game. in fact go google all those games from the early 90s. oh. pre-cassell, pre-mario elie. and don't tell me cassell or elie weren't difference makers, we will ISO you.
it proves that his early 90s teams weren't that talented. he had to 'lebron' it every night. also shows it wasn't so easy for him to drive it down the lane when you have a huge front court like the Rockets.
What's interesting about that video is you can tell how the Rockets weren't intimidated. They had what can only be described as a methodical swagger. A sense that they could and would win. That first Championship team was just so damn cool, and that's a word that should be applied to them more often - cool.

I think if you don't appreciate what the Rockets did back in the day and call your self a rockets fan and rooted for the Bulls in this video, God will judge you when that day comes. And what's wrong stating out the obvious that the old Bulls are better than Dream and Rox? We talking bout 6 rings in 8 years here, and the only reason it's not 8 of 8 is because of MJ's first retirement. It's not like I'm not giving credit for Dream or the Rockets, hell Ewing's Knicks was the best Knicks ever and Dream beat them. It's just fact that Jordan's Bulls was so dominate during its era that made A LOT of talented players ringless. I'm glad that Dream and the Rockets are good enough to grab two rings when Jordan's gone, they're great but it's just that they're not as good as Jordan and the Bulls. awesome video tinman. seeing those old vids of Mad Max makes me really sad to see where this franchise was and where this franchise is now. There is still a lot of hope for this team this year of course. Max was/is a bad person off the court, but on the court he was one bad muthaf'er thats for sure. People here loved the grit and moxy that bobby sura brought for 3/4 of a season here. Max was all that 5 fold easily. He talked the talk and walked the walk unlike some of the players we have on the roster today

I don't need a wikipedia link to know that that video tinman linked is not from 94-95. Horace Grant was on the Orlando Magic that year, not Chicago Bulls. This video is from before the retirement. As long as you are aware of the fact that the Rockets were 5-1 in the regular season against Jordan's Bulls during the years of the first threepeat, you are entitled to this opinion.
