You can just see his confidence growing with every play.

man watching these players is fun, he's going to be player in this league for a long time if he keeps this up. He's oozing with potential potential potential. And what did we give up? Dorsey?

He played baseball (pitcher), then switched sports after moving to Atlanta

he started playing "organized" basketball in the 9th grade....that doesn't mean he didn't already know how to play....unless kids play for the YMCA or something, most kids don't start playing organized basketball until middle school.

Hill plays with amazing passion when he is trying to rebound. He reminds me... Yes, Carl.... Just try to remember Landry's rookie season and streak. Hill is "fighting" on the boards like Carl that season, when he was triyng to prove, that he can be a solid rotation bigman.

Hill has potential to be an All star in this league some day. His ceiling is much higher than Landry because:

    1. He's bigger and longer
    2. He's much younger (Landry was a 23 year old rookie)
    3. He's a hard worker
    4. He seem to have a knack for rebounder the ball
    5. He's athletic and can run the floor well for a big man

I was very excited when we got hill. At first, I thought the trade was terrible when I thought we traded Landry and Tmac for just Kevin Martin but when I heard Hill and 2 first rounders were involved, I knew this was a good trade.

I remember someone on this GARM mentioned Hill was another Mikki Moore with a jumpshot...Yea righttttt my a**

Hakeem the Dream never played organized basketball until he was older. While I realize Hill will never be as good as Dream, he is easily the most athletic big man we have had since Dream and he has good instincts to boot. Hill has a very high ceiling and could easily be an all-star one day. He needs Dream to take him under his wing like Moses Malone did with Dream!!

Can Stromile Swift get some love. What I do like about Hill, he throws the ball down with authority when he gets the chance and plays good defense.

Eddie Griffin and Stromile Swift were more athletic than Hill. They weren't nearly as smart as Hill though.
