The thing I like about him is that he has shown in the past that it may take him a little time, but once he gets it, he does improve. He improved drastically from his freshman to sophomore year in college. He improved again a fair amount from sophomore to junior year.

I think it would be unfair to expect him to improve so much every off-season in the NBA, but I think this off-season will do him a load of good and he should get better and better, like Landry did...though with more physical upside in his size and height.

You should know about Hill's game a bit too, considering he played against Oregon many times during his college career ;)

I find it astonishing that Jeffries can't make a layup with his long arms. He could be quite productive if he didn't struggle to get that done.

I'd like to see him with and Bud get more time together. They look very comfortable playing together and that can help him integrate with the rest of the team.

Going to have to wait a few more games though before I start bragging on him being a steal in the recent trade.

Now he needs CD or Dream to work on his post up moves. This is why the Rockets should not look to the FA big names. I rather build from what the team already has, besides Wade, Lebron, and Bosh are not going anywhere.

Man, the Knicks are such idiots. I can't believe they basically included Hill as a salary dump to the Rockets. I can only imagine Morey laughing his a** off after negotiating with the Knicks.

Walsh: Okay, we'll give you Jordan Hill to get rid of Jeffries. He was a #8 pick.
Morey: Are you kidding me? We only had him in the late teens. Plus he's a bust. In fact, I think he's a liability given his long term contract. You know, we could be in the luxury tax range because of him. So we probably even need some extra incentive to get him.
Walsh: Alright. Alright. How about we swap picks next year and we give you the 2012 pick. We'll also add in some cash to pay some of his salary.

This needs to be said again. Morey's a genius. :)

Get to know that signature soft , turnaround right hand hook, or the fadeway from his left shoulder. Its very effective. It won't be Tim Duncan-esque or very fluid but it goes in!

Jordan Hill's got a much higher ceiling than Carl just because of that extra size.

Knicks fans must be kicking themselves now. I can't believe they just let this kid sit on the bench for half of a season.

This dude is a legitimate backup PF/C for any team NOW. Given time, adding some defense and a reliable mid-range jumper, he could start over Scola!! Kudo's to Morey! This guy sure know what he is doing.

Does anybody think Jordan Hill will start at center before the end of the season?
