I guess that comment could've been perceived as dumb. But it wasn't a dig at him for not passing, he would've made it if he wasn't fouled then didn't get the call.
Wow! That reminded me of a DWade full court in your face dunk. Ditto on the commentary, very poor job. That's the first time I've ever heard silence on a dunk like that. You would think that they'd be all over that if their only job was to comment. Especially when it's coming from the players own commentators.
I didn't realize how far back he was. I watched it twice. First time, noticed he was outside the block/charge circle. Watched it again, and realized he was just a step outside the semi-circle. That's what, seven or eight feet from the rim?
Oh, and I counted four seconds from after the block and he gained possession at 5:01 to when he left his feet at 4:57. It took him four seconds to run that. It was basically free throw line to free throw line.
Houston commentators were speechless lol. I was too. If it wasn't for the grammy's twitter would have exploded. It was hilarious because SAC commentators said that Lin wasn't quick. Welp he showed them.
Well at least this is a confirmation he's finally 100% in his explosiveness. Even in his previous dunks last season he didn't throw it down from that far away from the rim. Hopefully he works to build his vert even more in the offseason so he can become a freak like Westbrook. He already has the speed and agility.
I wouldn't say twitter would have exploded, yes it was a great dunk (make me jump up from my chair), but it's not like the rockets are the heat or the clippers or the thunder. We aren't that watched, so not many people would have seen it live, also take into consideration not even all rockets fan saw it thanks to CSN
