I like him, but he really needs to wear a different number on the Rockets. That's Tracy's number and as many good memories he created, he also created just as many bad ones.

    Say no to "1".

He can be like Schaub and the number 8. Erase the old and put in some new ones.

    Lamb:

-moves well with and without the ball. very smooth and natral feel to his game.
-length is impressive. helps him to recover on defense, not be bothered by defense when shooting jumpers.
-is pretty athletic. for example, the broken play where he basically goes from standstill outside the key to be able to dunk it with both hands.
-has no problems scoring. can shoot, make his own shot, and has that little floater in the lane.
-offensively has the kobe/crawford/terry "i don't give a crap" mentality

Kobe is the analogy I was looking ffor. Thank you- I couldn't place the "who" (the TMac analogy is ludicrous). Lamb creates separation in an effortless way, like Kobe. Yes.

I liked his first game a lot. He does seem to make scoring look easy. His great shot makes one forget the athleticism and hops until they surprise you with a dunk. But let's not start comparing him to Tmac and Kobe just yet. I need to see better assist and rebound numbers to think he's an all-around player with star potential. His defense looked pretty good yesterday but, again, we haven't seen him play against actual NBA players yet. How well can he score/defend against experienced NBA SGs? Showing consistently good play in the summer league means he might be a good/great NBA player.

And I thought he played better than Ross (but I am a Rockets homer). Lamb showed a smooth shot, an ability to score off of the pick and roll, and the hops to dunk. Ross played well but I didn't think his offensive game was a smooth or versatile. We'll see. I didn't love McHale gushing about Ross so much.

Lamb is the player I expected based on his performance in college. He has a variety of offensive skills and under appreciated athleticism on the court. In the combine he had top shelf athleticism.

His defense really shines. Not in your face except for the phenomenal block of a PF on the fast break, but always present.

He seems very laid back. Sleepy almost. Thank god he dropped to 12.

Hate to break it to you guys but if the Dwight deal goes down, Lamb will be the centerpiece that the Magic have to have. They need him as a high prospect they can try to sell to their fanbase this next season as an up and coming star in the making type of prospect. I dont look for them to make the deal without getting Lamb, especially if Donatas cannot be traded.

let's hope he does it again so the magic will be more inclined to make the trade sooner.
    If not, we gladly rebuild.

I love how you guys compare him to TMac.lol ARE you guys blind. He's very similar to KMart. He also said he designed his game to Miller and exUconn Rip Hamilton. Exactly what Kmart said also. How are you guys ignoring that he's Kmart part 2, but with potential to be a better rebounder and defender.
LOL even McHale is being ignorant to the fact that he has kmarts game. The dude he chose not to play.

Knowing the Rockets are about to throw him away just like they did Rudy Gay is terrible to stomach.
