Fisher's probably lost some of his perimeter quickness. He kind of reminds me of David Wesley from a few years ago.
"he's so well-spoken... he speaks so well..." this response is so straight out of a chris rock routine.... i'm not going to belabor the point about the subtle racism in the above post, but suffice it to say that the compliment of being a "well-spoken individual" is probably not often handed out to say, matt harpring...
AK is so soft. I mean how many games did Tmac and Yao miss over the past two seasons. Have you ever heard of them crying? Crying coming playoffs time is an absolute joke.
This guy is obviously a head case. What has happened to his game? He went from being the most impactful player on the team to a guy who can even get on the floor in crunch time. Something isn't right.
Besides the comments about AK47, one thing that stood out was (despite the words they said) the Jazz players didn't really seem confident. As a stark contrast, the Miami Heat players body language was clear that they expect to beat the Bulls next game. No doubt about it. But Okur, Boozer, Deron Williams and Fisher gave off bad vibes IMO. I think if we jump on them early in game 2 and take control, we can completely break their confidence and get them looking forward to the plane ride back to Utah.
Derek Fisher is maybe THE most well-spoken player in the league, even more so than Shane Battier in my opinion. Has nothing to do with him being black though. I honestly can't even think of a white player off the top of my head that I would consider particularly well-spoken.
There are alot of things we can learn from Fisher's interview. Like when he was talking about his playoff experiences: leading 2-0 and then it is back to 22; leading 3-1, and then all of a sudden, you are in game 7; down 0-2, then you win 4 games in a row... that is why the playoffs is all about one game at a time, and each game has a life of its own. He gave a very insightful interview. I hope that the Rockets actually learn from his interview and experience and never ever let their guard and intensity down. Do not expect an easy series with the Jazz.
when has he been on a team that lost 2, then won 4 games in a row in a series? i'm having trouble remembering any Lakers team that enjoyed/suffered such a fate.
He actually did cry at practice during an interview. You'll see it tonight on Sports Sunday if you watch.
Bad comparisons. Carmelo Anthony and Iverson are better grammatically than Tmac? What are you smoking?
Yeah, but man - it was at practice, it wasn't during the game. I mean we talkin' about cryin in practice.
