This was clearly staged, though they tried to make it look like an incident with security. Jazz bear mascot did something with silly string (got it in their beer?) and these "Rockets fans" apparently tossed the beer back at the mascot. The mascot then came back and tossed a bucket of water (?) on them and security hauled them away.

Some fans captured video of it.

Clutch The Bear is going to have to raise his game.

I always wondered if the stage things like this.

I remember Clutch the bear throwing a cake pretty hard into a Lakers fan. That was way too hard for a casual fan, I thought.

But yeah, are these really necessary. Seems quite lame.

When I went to a game in New Orleans a couple years ago, Hugo the Hornet came and hit me with silly string. Wasn't on the jumbotron though.

After doing so, I picked up all of the silly string remnants off of myself and the floor, balled it up, and playfully threw it at Hugo as he was walking down the stairs, but it fell just short of him. Didn't hit any fans though. Almost instantly, out of nowhere, two security guards rushed me and gave me a stern warning about throwing stuff, and that I will get kicked out if I do it again.

I was pretty upset. Does it say on the ticket I purchase that I agree to be silly stringed (strung)? and if or if not, isn't it fair for me to "silly string" Hugo back? Injustice

Bucket of water. Hadn't seen that before.

So odd that there were rows of empty seats behind the two fans. We all know the Rockets are Utah's favorite team and a near capacity house is a given when they're in town.

i don't know if they even had to move people around behind them for the skit. If you look in second video, the section over is just about as sparse in the back rows too. A LOT of empty seats in the crowd tonight. Bill & Bull couldn't remember it being so empty, especially in upper bowl, and appears from the videos that also at the top of the lower bowl. I guess even Utah's crowd isn't immune to the attendance hit as a result of being terrible.

Obviously staged but with all those empty seats you would think they wouldn't want to do anything to discourage any fan from attending the game.

They do. I was at the rockets game and they put an extra foldable chair and after the skit was over the women and chair were gone.

It's a Yao and Barkley jersey....they probably had those stashed in their storage room from past skits.

[VIDEO] Rockets fans thrown out of Jazz game

Maybe fake, but even so, another reason to hate Utah for the cheap rip off of Clutch the Bear's cake throw bit.

THat has to be fake. No self respecting person would ever wear a Barkley jersey.

Haha. The better question is why do we force African-Americans to visit Salt Lake City.
