Meh, video is just a subtle harden diss track. No matter how you slice it, the video proves we lose...
Yes, and twice now so I could be fair to you in my assessment. It reinforces people's reasons for not liking Harden without balancing that narrative within the piece. It basically says enjoy watching him at the end, but starts out saying it's okay to hate him and that you're justified for doing so. It reinforces the "Harden cheats" bs and the "Harden travels" bs. When a player this special comes along, you gotta pay them justice. I get hate if you're a fan that got beat, but there's a different metric for media bias. If you're going to spout out something to the world of all sports fans, you should tell them why you're not giving him a fair shot. Whoever did this video seems to be trying to be fair overall, but it starts out as too anti-Harden but never goes to bat for him. It stays too much in the court of human-behavior-dictates-Harden-is-evil for too much of this. I mean, if this was a video about racism and it being human nature to hate a guy because of the way he looks, we'd all thing it was propaganda. So this isn't any different. It went too strong in one direction to be fair. We're watching Michael Jordan right now and apparently it's okay to hate that because he has a "dark beard". I call bullshit.
Harden's current scoring run is one for the ages and the fam friendly sportsman of the year Curry's reaction wasn't to applaud Harden but to mock him and encourage the outlaw of a move Harden perfected through hard work. True villains.
At least this guy has a real opinion about Harden and it shows a true fan view of him, not a paid ESPN millionaire view. I like Harden being the bad guy, it adds fuel to the fire.
