Not much to say other than Watt's a really good sport. Didn't get upset even when taking cheap shots. He's right in that he probably won't ever get mic'd again after this.

Not sure if anyone heard Bill Polian on the SVP and Russillo show yesterday...he said, as of right now, Watt is the clear MVP of the league and is a transcendent player.

I am reading more and more of that as well. DPOY for sure, but MVP would be something but deserved.

LOL at Yanda instantly defending himself as soon as he cheap-shotted Watt. He knew that he got away with holding on that play where he tackled Watt as well.

Mic'd made him nervous. Was worried about that more than defending Yanda. :( Yanda predicted and was right. He got NO sacks. :(

He'd be a lock to get it, if things don't change by season's end (his play and the team's standing).

That would be so awesome if he got MVP. As of now I do believe there is no one else in the running ;) but I am biased because I love him

mvp would be amazing but look for a qb to steal it. matt ryan, rg3, e.manning, rodgers all having huge seasons. and matty ice has his team undefeated at this point.

Who, exactly? Right now, mention 2 that are better or consistently making noise about MVP caliber play... there are none.

Classic image of JJ Watt Bull-rushing the OG and leaping for a swat.

Who exactly?, Are you blind, i listed ryan, rg3, eli, and rodgers.

all of them are listed on any mvp list you find along with watt. my point was chances are that a qb will end up stealing it late.

in the history of this award (late 50's), only 2 defensive players have ever won it. last one was taylor in 1986.

i hope JJ can win it but the odds and history are against him.
