Thats exactly what I was wondering. Who came up with this process. Who the hell thinks of mixing coco plants, gasoline, amonia and then drying and then sniffing. I'm gonna go mix some diesel, cheetos, candel wax and sesame seeds. Boil it real good and filter it. Then smoke or inhale whatever is left.
Two thoughts: 1.)That is absolutely disgusting. 2.)Why don't those people actually have money? Also, as an aside, a kid I used to know lived in Columbia when he was really young. He once told me about how he accidentally stumbled upon a cocaine field. Something about how he took off running home for fear of being killed.
I believe the gasoline is used as a substitute for something like ether or alcohol; it is a liquid that will evaoprate easily but is easier to buy in quantity than the other two. The other things like amonia and caustic soda, and various acids are basic techniques for extracting substances from plants. Similar techniques are used when extracting anything from plant mater. Basically you put the plants in a solution, and chemically assault them until basically there is nothing left but fiber. You then remove the hard fiber and find out a way to take what you want out the chemicals from the liquid. The process is just really basic type chemical engineering for poor people in South America. I don't think a chemical engineer would find it particularly odd. IIRC the other thing about cocaine is that it is not water soluible which is odd. If you drop it in water it won't go into solution so it could not be used as part of a slower evaporative process instead of the gasoline.

and I notice you dont mention that some coke users report that coke also cause impotence Its a funny thing...the drug supposedly gets females very horny but can negatively affect your turbidity (in some cases) I used to hang with people that did a bit of this stuff, but I saw that the negatives(excessive paranoia, nosebleeds, horrible aftertaste all down the throat, and possibility of temporary impotence) outweigh the positives for me. The only drug I would do these days (After extensive experimenting over the years) would be pot....now if we can just get them to legalize Id never stress again.
