Planet fitness is designed for people who are not into extreme/hardcore lifting. Dude should never have even tried to get a membership there.
Same here. That's awesome, we need some of those douche alarms here in Houston. Instead of a sound it could be a booming voice saying "Douchebaggery!" several times. Hopefully he'll get the message and leave.
I was wondering what that alarm was at the beginning of the video. I can understand not wanting a bunch of grunting or yelling in a gym but that alarm seems just as annoying.
He's petrified he will be seen and forced to catch a dumbbell with his teeth, which probably aren't as resilient as the mirror.
if the guy recording didn't handle the camera like in the blair witch project, i'd have watched the whole thing.
Yeah, it's more than likely an iPhone video. It's not as steady as in the commercial. Hey, by the way, thanks for the championships, Mr. Riley. Even though you didn't play in lots of games, your contribution in relief of one Great One [Hakeem] will not go unnoticed.
He threw a weight into the mirror, and I'm pretty sure it cracked. Watch again closer, and then tell me if you fail or not.
I know which gym I won't catch Maria Sharapova at. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/XzMV1VmkI7c&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/XzMV1VmkI7c&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
That's why I asked "did he?" on my post, and said I bet he didn't. I still say he did not. You would have seen large cracks (that's what she said) on that mirror, but it didn't happen. Those mirrors are stronger at the gym because of shocks with weights and such. That mirror was strong, sir. I can't see the crack. At what second do you see it?
Interesting, how I have the exact same alarm at home... it goes off whenever I grunt or moan really loudly during masturbation...
I have never heard of Planet Fitness until this video. I found a close up of the lunk alarm. Looking at the website. They seem to be a chain that caters to the casual person. Their selling proposition is that they provide a "Judgement Free Zone, which means members can relax, get in shape, and have fun without being subjected to the hard-core, look-at-me attitude that exists in too many gyms". It's definitely not a place for hardcore workouts. It's more geared toward grandpa than Arnold. http://www.planetfitness.com/

This would explain why a guy is walking around and filming other people at the gym. It is a gym for 'casual' fitness goers.
He was working out his arms, raising and lowering the cam while moving stealthily on his tip toes to get his calves a good workout...duhhh
I am a 330 lb p***sy who can barely bench 1/3rd my weight and often get tired doing cardio at 3.1 mph. That said I am not over intimidated if a guy wants to grunt like Sharapova or let his weights clang. All I can think of if I got called out for making too much noise (cause I was trying to military press 25 lbs instead of 18.5)..I might say..sorry Nancy...I thought this was a gym not a library...then go on my way to a 3400 calorie meal to negate my workout 4343 times over
