[Video Games] What are you looking forward to in 2008?

Killzone 2 & GTA IV

I'm excited to see what home does to the PS3. With the firmware updates and PSP connectivity, I'm able to do some things with them that I didn't ever think I would be able to do (listen to my home music collection and watch videos remotely). If home allows you to share that media with others, and you can access it with your PSP, there would be an infinite library of things available at your fingertips when ever you wanted it.

Little Big Planet and RE V too.

After playing Dead Risng, it would be nice to see a sequel to that too, but I've haven't heard anything about one.

 

I think it will sell pretty well in America as well. I remember that game was the sh** back in 9th grade.

Is the game Spore going to be released this year? Everytime I see something about this game it gets me excited about the possibilities. Sort of like having a single player MMORPG that never ends and that you don't have to pay for (I hope). Anyway, I've seen videos that made the game look like it was pretty far in development, but I haven't seen a release date.

 

there is another star wars game in the works that bioware and lucas arts are working on. Rumor has it is that it might be Knights of the old republic 3 or MMORPG

Purely speculation on my part but, logically the game will be announced during E3 for Q4 '08 release. They would probably base the game off of Mass Effect's engine...

I just hope its Knights of the Old Republic 3 and not something like star wars galaxies crap....

Seeing as it's been 3 yrs since the last one I would have to believe that something has been in the works for sometime and they just struck this deal with lucas arts to publish the game....

Somehow, I manage to receive beta invites for the games I don't really want to play, yet never manage to get into the betas of those games I REALLY hope do well.

I'm bored of WoW, and while this looks like it is becoming a WoW-clone, I'd still like to try something, anything new.

All these seem somewhat around the corner, I am starting to get excited. And I have barely gotten into GTA4. For me they are all must buys with the exception of possibly Madden. Home too of course, since its not a game nor on sale. Anyways. I am excited. So I brought this sucker back to life.

 

has anyone heard anything about KOTR III?

 

I am looking for the WORDLY ACCLAIMED "The Ring I Left In The Toilet But Now Is Lost To The Cleaning Lady" game from Polyphony Digital.

been waiting for some info on that. fn3 was awesome but was missing many features. im assuming the new one will be more of a full version. 2k sports is coming out with a boxing game too. but i think ill wait for fight night.

wouldnt it be awesome if you could start your own promoter mode on there or something like that. that would be deep
