Sorry I am an idiot. I saw the box in the store, and had been told earlier by an employee that it was being released at the end of November.

You are right. It isn't out yet. The box was just one of those pre-order deals.

I had tried to stay away from the computer store since I knew I couldn't get it if it had really been out, and didn't want to make self miserable. AFter being told that it would be out at the end of the Novemer, I didn't check back again.

So I'm sorry I posted the erroneous message. But I do still wish Jade Empire would come out with a sequel :D

No problem. It isn't like Bethesda made it easy by delaying the game shortly before the expected November release. They went from saying, with confidence, that it would be a Xbox 360 launch title to it being a late March release, all within a short time period. I can definitely see how someone would have missed the delay news.

As for wanting a Jade Empire sequel, I wouldn’t worry too much about that. ;)

Well prior to the november release date, I was checking every single IGN preview interview, and checking the Bethesda website daily. I'm psyched about that one.

As for a Jade EMpire sequel, would you not worry because there isn't any discussion of one at all, or because there is definitely going to be one.

I am not checking on bioware's bbs regularly, but I haven't seen any public hints from bioware about a sequel.

That was definetly something that will stick with me. Crazy looking, kind of seductive. And the horror stuff....eek/

I thought I read some rumors about them (or maybe someone else, which I guess kills it) making a sequel for a next-gen console. Although even without the rumors, I don't see why they wouldn't make a sequel sometime. IIRC, it had great ratings and at least decent sales; that's just asking for a sequel right there. I guess maybe I shouldn't exactly expect a sequel, but I probably would be a bit surprised NOT to see one in the next 5-6 years (if that makes any sense).

Jade empire was good but it was too short imo. im waiting in 2006 for an official word on star wars knights of the old republic 3. Hoping that it will be started soon and hopefully on 360.. but i will take it on the original if thats what it takes. heard that obsidion might have an announcement on it after neverwinter nights 2 is out. heres to praying!

looking foward to elder scrolls 4, Fight night round 3, Next years sports titles, final fantasy 12 (next to star wars my favorite series),splinter cell 4.

also didnt know suikoden 1 and 2 was being remade..might just have to get a psp..loved those games back in the day..dont like the new ones to much though.

It isn't so much a remake as it is a re-release, which isn't that bad since those two game are really hard to find anyway. There might be some extras put in, but I'm just expecting the PS1 versions of those games on the PSP...which will probably look really good on the screen.

I should note that, while I mentioned it, I'm not sure if Konami actually plans on bringing it to NA. It wouldn't take much since all the localization work has already been done, but it might end up being just a Japan-only release. I doubt that though...of course, I doubt that because I'm hoping it isn't true. :)

BTW, I picked a great time to promote Rule of Rose. Sony just put out another trailer for it, although not as great as the one I showed:

Bioware is currently working on a new RPG/action sci-fi game for the 360.

I think Ive finally grown to old for video games, they just dont do it for me any more.

However, I would buy a PS3 just to play the next Grand Theft Auto game. Thats about the only game Im looking forward to, let hope it comes out next year.

Me too. It and GT were the only reason I bought my PS2.

Don't know if I'll by a new console anywhere in the next 4 years or so.

I've got my PC i've been upgrading, and been playing games on that.

To be moved, like I was moved by:

    - R-Type, GunHead and Tiger Heli (all on the PC Engine), circa 1987ish. This was 1 1/2 year before the 16bit revolution in the U.S. Good times.
    - Street Fighter 2, circa 1991
    - Metal Gear Solid and Gran Turismo, circa 1998 (man that was a good year)
    - Metroid Prime, circa 2003 (stupid bug/miss once miss it forever design kept me from getting 100%)
    - Dragon Quest VIII, circa 2005 :)

I suspect the most likely candidate to achieve that would be the Revolution.

Yeah, they're working on Mass Effect; IIRC, it is supposed to be a trilogy, so there might be two more, I guess on the 360. It is one of the better looking UE 3.0 games, IMO:
