[Video Games] What are you looking forward to in 2006?

I'm waiting for Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds, Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and Neverwinter Nights 2.

I am absolutely stoked about the Revolution. I'm no fanboy, but the prospect of new directions in gameplay has me extremely excited. The video game industry has had that same old same old feeling for a while since the release of the PS2.

 

EA Sports College Baseball (Road to Omaha)....been waiting for a college baseball fame forever.

 

How did I forget to mention Vanguard? Mark me down for that as well.

I'm looking forward to the new Zelda title and pretty much anything dealing with the Revolution. I think it has the potential to be awesome.

 

I'd rather not... it scares me.

 

speaking of cheap games... Toys r Us has a sale going on; 10 bucks on all listed games, but too many greedy people are buying up the games.

Considering the falling out they had, even the rerelease baby steps are a start.

They're doing more than just that, though. There's also a couple DS games that aren't remakes, and even the DS FFIII is quite a bit more than just a rerelease. The GBA releases even have quite a bit added.

And with, as RC mentioned, Square-enix even reaching to the XBOX platform now, there's no real reason to believe they won't continue to branch out next generation.

Especially with the concerns over the Final Fantasy franchise; they're doing a lot of different things with it and probably will continue to experiment. Whether that's good or bad, who knows.

If it's actually playable either way, like that article suggests, that would be prettty nice.

ELDER SCROLLS 4 is out now.

I haven't got it yet, but I really am looking forward to jumping into this game.

I wish Jade Empire would come out with a sequel.
