I know they screwed up their NBA franchise this year, but come on. EA has gotten a lot better this decade. They have allowed their studios to create new IP's and take plenty of risks to try different genres. Mirror's Edge, Dante's Inferno, and the critically acclaimed Dead Space are just some of EA's new franchises. I like their games. They also picked up Bioware, and allowed them to flesh out Mass Effect 2 to their liking. For most people it turned out better than Mass Effect 1 as well. Activision on the other hand... Now that is a company that runs it's franchises to the ground. Up next: Call of Duty.
I'm just glad EA's attempted hostile takeover of TakeTwo failed. They are trying to monopolize the sports-gaming industry. Bastards.
