My friend can beat it without being hit. You have to memorize the pattern (its 5 or 6 steps), and can only hit him with a triple charge shot. Seems easy when he does it but I still can't even get close. I have a little pride for beating MW1 and 2 on veteran including the extra "Airplane" mission on MW1 that you have to beat in less than 1 minute. Took a few days but man it was satisfying shooting that hostage taker in the head 1st try.
I had started on MGS 4 on extreme or whatever the highest difficulty is but stopped playing the game right before the first boss fight. It's really tough because you gotta look out to not hit soda cans and things like that.
