I beat the game yesterday and have been playing online. Story mode was great, but the multiplayer is really, really fun. Especially raiding gang hideouts.
OK, I saw there are now cheats out for the game. It says it wont save though. Does this mean anytime you wanna save you have to do it manually, or you cant save at all? I just wanna try it out on my little brothers profile.
When someone gets the ClutchFans PS3 posse together, I want in...... Just bought it today and played single player for a couple hours to get the hang of the control scheme. After going online, I guess there was nobody else online because I kept joining games (FFA and Gang matches) and was the only one in the lobby. I did take out a gang single handedly and picked up a couple new guns in the process. I also got upgraded from Donkey to Horse which was pretty sweet
Loving the game, I have unlocked a gang of suits, and I only have 3 more Treasures to find.....having hardest times finding the dang on beavers....after that will finish sharpshooting...before playing another mission....
Been playing the game for awhile now I am not sure if I beat the game or not after killing the Indian stage. I know there on missions at the ranch but is just some extras or is there more to it? It is getting pretty boring since most of missions we did already.
I love everything except for the online play (not free roam, I like that). The team deathmatch and stuff sucks, but I've never seen an open world game with decent online play
Yeah, I played some of those objective games like grab the bag or whatever...no thanks. Not really enjoyable at all. I like free roam though. And the single player is greatness...basically what GTA4 was hyped up to be.
Yeah, I was very disappointed with GTAIV but this has lived up to all my expectations. I had a posse going yesterday in free roam and we went at it with another group of guys for like 2 hours. We were in the tall trees area most of the time so when we weren't getting killed by enemies, we were getting mauled by bears.
No those are apart of the story. And when you think those end, their is actually one last mission but you need to keep an eye out for it. You'll know what I mean when you get their.
I've been playing the game for hours now and it really lives up to the hype so far. I've got 2 questions: 1. Is it possible to do a screen capture from xbox? I'd like to make a wallpaper for my laptop (i.e. Marston riding in the sunset). 2. Also, is there any way I can revisit the conversations? I think they are nicely written, but I wasn't able to enjoy thoroughly while concentrating on the game itself. Thanks.
My friend got it yesterday and wanted to play so I spent all of yesterday in multiplayer. Ton of fun. First we were just hitting gang hideouts, found a few cool people that joined our posse, and we hit every gang hideout, some twice (They really need to add more). Then, we tried out the free for all, which was pretty fun, but not something I'm going to be doing much. Anyways, then me and my friend went exploring the mountain area, tall trees, and killing bears and stuff. Then we got into a battle with two other players, kept killing each other. Then i started trying to do the hunting challenges. Did the bear challenge, then had to go after some legendary wolf, then some legendary boar, and then some legendary jaguar (which i never killed). That was fun, except for the jaguar, because cougars are annoying. Overall, I realized that theres a TON of stuff to do in this game. And if what someone told me is true im still only a third of the way through the single player, which is amazing so far by the way. And I still haven't hit up a lot of the side missions in single player.
I just started playing this yesterday. Is it just me, or is it incredibly easy to make a lot of money by simply playing that 5 Finger Filet game? Just bet the max -- $100 -- and its a very easy game to win (same pattern each time). Which gambling game, early in the game, is more rewarding than that?
The game froze up on me twice during the Fort Mercer mission while I was using the machine gun. Has anyone else experienced this?
I am almost there I think. I just finished the second horse race for the old man, so I think I am getting closer......although I have really been tempted to shoot Irish in the face a few times. I will let you know when I get there
greatest moment in gaming history. you just fought a battle of your life as you enter a foreign land, all alone, under the moon light and suddenly you hear this Far Away by Jose Gonzalez http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7IkvAb6THQY
Thanks. Its a pretty intense battle, and perhaps that overheated my system. Its annoying, because each time I had to shut off my xbox and I lose all my progress on that particular mission.
