Haha, yeah. I would jump so bad when that happened. Not so much with the bears, but when a cougar got me and you heard the loud screech/howl... nightmares.
Wow they were so annoying. They'd just randomly knock you off your horse and crap. I think I hunted them to near extinction during my play through...bastards.
