[Video Game] Heavy Rain

Aside from a smattering of high-intensity moments (naturally, most of which are toward the end), I'd describe the entire game as "slow"...as it should be, in my opinion.

 

It definitely picks up. I think my favorite parts are with the FBI agent Jaden.

Although cleaning Madison was nice.

If it weren't for FFXIII and GOWIII next week, I would be finishing it right now. Stupid games. :grin:

That's how spoilers happen...someone assumes that everyone else knows. Some people, like myself, purposely tried to avoid reading about the game.

By the way, I beat it and did not get that scene.

 

Maybe, I thought it was warranted. Borderline maybe. In the end, not really a big deal.

Just beat it. Awesome experience. Exceeded my expectations, and they were already pretty high. Although as mentioned, still a few issues that maybe could have used a bit more polish.

 

Started playing this over the weekend and have put in a good 5 or 6 hours with it, really enjoying it, so much so I even put playing through God of War 3 off till I'm through this game at least once.

 

does it have any replay value?

 

I'd say it has tons, lots of different paths the story can take.

 

I agree. Probably not going to get the same experience as the initial playthrough, but I think there are plenty of places in the game where you may want to see what would happen if you made a difference decision. Also have DLC, which I think also has lots of different paths you can take.

Sorry for being late to the discussion... The fat detective keep getting his ass kicked, he is incompetent and slow.. All the other characters I seemed to be doing just fine..

Got a ps3 ysterday and came with this game i started playing dam its so slow at the beggining i wanted to just turn it off. Kept playing then "grace" came home with the kids when she was in the kitchen and got close to her from the back and made out with her lol.

I seriuosly thought i was gonna take her upstairs and hit it but the kids birthday party was the ckc block. Anyways i played it a while longer then got bored.

 

The game starts off very slow, but keep playing.

 

Ditto, the first chapter with the family is pretty much a tutorial for the control scheme.

 

Yeah, I echo what those guys say. The first two chapters or so, it is damn boring. It gets better though.
