Man I've only had the fortune of finishing Halo 1 before my Xbox broke and my stupid decision in purchasing a Wii afterward. Can someone briefly tell me what the story line to Halo 2 and 3 were?
Each new edition of Halo since Halo 2 has felt more like a patch to me, rather than a new game. When does Call of Duty 19 come out again? Ugh. Gaming today sucks.
Halo=worst design ever. A guy with a motocross uniform and helmet. First time I saw that in action I knew I will never want to touch the game.
I dunno I was skeptical of Reach but it blew me away. I love Halo but i queston the timing...getting fatigue. I may change my mind as I see more, but if the story involves more flood and Covenant and Halo rings forget it. Certainly there's other dangers in the universe for Master Chief. And Cortana looks hideous in the trailer.
I love Reach too and still play it all the time now. I liked the story setting for Halo 1 and 2. Attacking Earth was pretty cool. 3 was alright. Reach was unbelievable(Although it would of been nice to see a cameo from Master Chief). I'll still buy Halo 4 and I'll still go out and dominate multi-player. By the way if anyone wants to play post your gamertag and I'll add you when I get home to Houston next week.
My favorite Halo game is actually ODST. I thought it was refreshingly different than the Master Chief storyline. I liked the fact that you could actually die in the game if you weren't careful, and the sneaking around at night was kind of creepy.
Master Chief did make a cameo in Halo Reach, at the end of the game. He is on the Pillar of Autumn (The ship you hand Cortana off to), already in cryonic sleep.
All downhill after Halo 1. All these new "powerups" and **** make the game completely r****ded. Halo 1 was a revolutionary FPS shooter. Similar to that of counterstrike but for consoles.
halo 1 was the best. stopped playing it 3 yrs ago actually but everything else ****ing sucks. And its kind of sad they keep making so many halo games, it actually makes it look a lot worse and the quality keeps going down.
True...but what I really meant was I wish that we got to do a mission with him instead of just handing off Cortana to Keys
