You make Lin sound like a child. If Lin can't obey his coach because he is scared of other players on the team or any other reason, he definitely does not deserve to be a PG. I'm not even convinced any of the videos in this thread mean anything.
I thought it was common knowledge that Harden didn't listen to McHale. And don't give me that "Under a good coach Harden will listen" bull****. No he won't. Harden listens to only Harden. Any coach that rubs Harden the wrong way is going to be fired plain and simple.

I wonder what would have been the consequences if Lin had ignored Harden. It is Lin's fault, for not following the coach's instructions. But things must have been a pattern of events prior to this that he would accede just like that ie. what JHarden wants, JHarden gets, no questions asked. So while I think it is Lin's fault, for not following the coach's instructions, I dont begrudge him, cos it's like asking someone to stand up to his/her bully and that is easier said than done.
