You gotta finish out the fast break, otherwise people would be wondering why you stopped. That was just within the flow of the game. I don't see a problem

I get why most don't but it sure beats watching them dribble the ball in the long final seconds.

Yup, Young was gunning for a 3 and missed in the finals seconds... then he gets mad when Turner makes an amazing 2?

Nah, Turner did the right thing.

Yes, glad someone mentioned this. It was awesome when Jeff van Gundy said during the Christmas game "it certainly doesn't stand for 'pass'" and his broadcasting partner lost it.

Pretty cool of him to apologize afterwards!

Wish we would've traded Asik for him (and others possibly)

It is an unwritten rule in basketball to not pad the score at the end, especially with a flashy dunk as such. Game was well over when Philly was on the fast break, and he did the right thing by apologizing afterwards. It is throwing salt on the wound when he should of just held the ball out.

Young shot the three because they were down but still had the slightest chance of winning. Still a chance; still worth taking the three.

Also, NBA players don't care about getting an extra two points for fantasy.

Hakeem used to pull 3's in these situations all the time. I'm ok with it
