Pretty accurate. The biggest thing in the nba is space creation. That's the difference between spot up guys and guys who can get their shot off under pressure. A guy like chris mullin could create space because he was a great ball handler. Manu can create space because he is shifty with the ball also. Deng creates space with his length. Marcus will need to work on this big time. He's not a blow by your man player nor is he a gifted ballhandler. His short dribble drive and burst will need to be refined and he will have to become a better ball handler if he wants to be more than a spot shooter type.

You must be blind if you can't see this guy is a baller! No wonder he did so way at Kansas.

    Great pick.

One can only hope. Paul Pierce was drafted low for the type of player he turned out to be. Still, the moment he set foot in a NBA game, people could see the guy was great. Nine gms did not recognize how good Pierce's college game would translate into the NBA, so they bypassed him.

I know people keep criticising this guy's athleticism and handling, but he's not exactly grounded in terms of jump, and he moves well enough. Sure, he could get faster, but I'm sure we have coaches to sort that sort of thing...
