dude that's not correct at all. An ankle doesn't always swell badly "regardless of the extent/severity"....and even minor one can't always be walked out...

Right but chase is a professional athlete. He's prob got stronger tendons and muscles than you. Also he's younger so he heals quicker and has stronger bones. No offense, but he prob weighs less too.

It's always good news when you can bear weight on the ankle. It's even better news when you can walk on it with a minor limp, even it's right after. I don't think it's too serious, not where he's going to miss a month or more. I'd say he'll miss a week at least, but probably not more than a 3-4 weeks.

Younger, heals quicker and stronger bones, but at 6'7, I think he weighs a bit more than me....

Either way, I hope he is ok, can we bring up Temple or Harris?

Chase never had any injury problems (started every game I think) at Arizona, pretty weird considering he is such a high flying athlete.

Hey, who knows? Tiger Woods proved that golf can be a pretty damaging sport, especially when an angry wife who just found out she was cheated on is threatening to beat you with your own golf clubs ;)

I'm not sure those expressions were because they realized Chase was injured. Looks to me that they were reacting to the missed layup.

Usually if it rolls inside, it is sprained, if it rolls outside it is broken. He also didn't rotate it a full 90 degrees (more like 45) and his leg rolled over before placing full weight on it.

My guess is 14 days with an ankle brace and a ton if anti-inflammatory medication when he returns.

Wow that's almost identical to how I rolled mine last month...even had a thread in the Hangout lol. I didn't play for 4 weeks, and I'm still gaining my strength on it. Of course...I didn't take care of it so well...so hopefully Budinger can come back sooner...crossing my fingers for 2-3 weeks.

that looked painful b/c of how high he jumped. didn't look too serious though, just looked like a regular sprain you get at the gym.
