btw im not saying parsons is or will be as good as bird, there are some things that bird had that you just can't teach a player to have,...instincts, vision, feel of the game, understanding the game and players.

larry bird playing basketball was more smarter than most coaches coaching.

Running the offense through Parson's would be better than black hole Harden. I hate how people say how Harden makes his team mates better, completely untrue, he plays for himself if you actually watch the games, Parsons is a true team player and at the same time can get his with his many variety of moves.

chase budinger's basketball IQ is not there with parsons, parsons knows the angles/feel of the game more than budinger, similar to what luis scola, dude is probably one of the least athletic players in the NBA but knows how to move and uses angles to get free/open(something larry bird mastered)...also i forgot to mention is how mentally tough larry bird was, hes in the class with jordan, kobe for mental toughess, bird was one of the players you do not want to piss off because he will elevate his game to another level.

Notice how he got all of his points in the last 2 minutes of the video... fastbreak dunk, drive to the lane, drive to the lane, drive to the lane, drive to the lane and free throw. Also notice that the last point he got (a free throw after driving to the lane) put them up by 7 with 2 minutes left in the game.

That was the last time anybody in a Rockets uniform drove to the lane, and the Thunder came right back because of it.

hhhmm, I wonder what the Thunder's game plan is for Parsons in game 5? I'm worried they will try to lock him down as hard as possible. The good thing about that is less defensive pressure on Harden, or Asik will be open all night long.
