Not really. It should be even easier. Put your money where your mouth is and close your mouth. It should be simple according to you.
Just making a point. It seems so easy to say the guy should have just shut his mouth and not do anything while he was verbally harassed and ultimately assaulted, but when it comes time to prove how easy it really is, it doesn't happen. Just like the confrontation could hve been avoided, this whole disagreement can be avoided if you and durvusa would just stop talking and ignore all the remarks. I don't see it happening.

Why do I have to can it with the assumptions when you do the same thing? You act like it's pretty easy to stay calm in this situation when things escalated the way it did.
Both guys misunderstood each other and neither wanted to backdown. Santa was clearly off his rocker, Deejay should've recognized it and quit f'in with the guy...but he thought he was being racist. Even though Santa was the crazy one, wtf is up with Deejay? Dude, don't mess with a weird old guy that looks like he could kill you AND who's wearing a shirt saying I am a motherfu**er(that's what it says right?). AND certainly don't assault the guy. Idiot.
Not to add to the pile-on, but I just can't see your point at all. Had Epic Beard Man (EBM) continued to hit his vanquished opponent, then sure it would be pretty safe to say that he went too far, but that's not what happened: -An argument took place over what sounds like a misunderstanding -EBM moved to the front of the bus in an attempt to keep the peace -Both men kept trash-talking (but it's not like EBM wasn't within his rights to keep doing so as he already made the move to rectify the situation by moving away from said situation) -Black guy (and the girls) kept provoking him -Black guy struck first -Black guy got what was coming to him -EBM stopped the attack when it was evident that the fight was over and exited the bus Slap, bang, done, end of story. Off his meds or not, EBM didn't do anything wrong here.
Seems like a misunderstanding that would have ended if the camera girl would have stayed out of it... but it is hard to say definitively since we're missing the original comment(s). Still, from IMAMF Santa's responses, and his willingness to move away from the situation, I tend to give ample belief that he didn't randomly insult this guy, and misunderstood him, however potentially inappropriately. He tried to make it clear (poorly, perhaps) and remove himself from the situation while being verbally accosted. Dude should NEVER have gone to the front of the bus. and if he did, he should have returned to the original point of discussion regarding the misunderstanding... instead he continues to talk trash, and makes the dreadful mistake of punching IMAMF Santa.... proceeding to get exactly what he deserved at that point . The camera girl is the worst of the situation, racial slurs, egging bleeder on when de-escalation (however not tactful by either side) had started. Then finishes with "We can sue" after embarrassing the bleeder to go up and get his arse kicked... and finally going through his things. Old dude not being on meds might have been a factor, but really had little to do with any blame to be handed out once the incident had occurred. How anyone can say IMAMF Santa was in the wrong, past the speculation that he did say something more volatile or that there was no misunderstanding and he meant to insult the man racially (something I don't think the video evidence lends itself to, but at least that part is debatable), is something that would make me call their judgement into question. I'm pretty sure she wishes she had edited that video before she released it so the scenario would have been less incriminating...then again, she seemed pretty proud of herself. Disgusting.

Not bad, but I have some corrections. He doesn't say "You ain't scared OF me" (which would make no sense). He says "You ain't SCARING me". Then later he says "I see tough guys like you and I slap the **** out of 'em", not "This ???? tear your ass up!".
