The game is still easy for him, they need him to make some clutch shots, to pass the ball from the wing position, to shoot some threes and to give them that winning mentality. He can do it
Didn't look so good here, but I want to believe that its just him shaking off the rust. Really want to see him succeed.
It was a Pro-am league Brandon Roy has nothing to prove in a Pro-Am game that Jamal Crawford hosted. Why would you go hard in a game like that knowing his injury situation?
Ouch, hopefully he wasn't trying...at all. That looked pretty awful, he looks like your average church hooper. Won't look pretty, won't look pretty at all for Twolve fans when he's on the floor.
Seriously why waste time and money on this guy? He wont last the season plus he wont be even half the player he was. Wolves needed a legit scoring force at the 2.
It's obvious he still has skills but from those clips it looks like he can't go anything near full speed. Definitely looks like the guy at the local gym that could play because it's a pickup game but no longer has the athleticism to compete at a higher level. Really want to see him do well but off that clip it's hard to imagine him even being able to get up and down the court at the NBA level. Hopefully it's only cause it's summer league and he's still rusty but that seems unlikely.
It sucks that this happened to one of the best talents in the NBA. Roy was easily my favorite player. Oh boy was he was fun to watch even against Houston. Brandon was clutch in the playoffs also. It sucks to see this. It makes me incredibly sad. I hope he has the best of luck next season.
