I am not talking about any of that, I went back and reviewed your posts. Its like a broken record. Nothing about our current lineup, it is all an attack on fans and players.

We all understand your stance: You don't like McGrady, you dont like people fawning over his early days, you don't think people appreciate the early days.

We understand, you are entitled to your opinions, but come on man, enough is enough. You are going beyond making your point; it seems now is all you want to do is be obnoxious.

This team is what it is, if it were Bowen, Moochie, Charles Jones, Rod Strickland, and Tsakalidis out there most of us would still be cheering our hearts out.

I am asking you, as one die hard Rockets fan to another, can you please stop with this non-sense?

Pssst, this isn't the first Barkley thread here.
there's one accusing Charles of hating. when some fans who've never seen this guy play as a Rocket accuse him of something and not take the time to watch the video, I'm going to react.

Second, its not me who's the broken record. Every freaking time Tmac in Toronto or Tmac in Orlando is on, its POSTED ON THE GARM.

There are tons of great Rocket players playing on other teams, Cassell, Horry, whenever there's a 'classic' Horry with the Lakers, that belongs in the NBA Dish. Cassell with Bucks, NBA Dish.
Tmac was not an original Rocket. Yao is. Tmac started in Toronto, then went to Orlando, then the Rockets.
So Tmac in Orlando games = NBA dish, Tmac in Houston = GARM
why is it posted in the GARM? Cause Tmac fans can't swallow their Tmac pride and put in the NBA Dish cause they think what's on your jersey doesn't matter.
I have no problem with Tmac, AntiSonic may have, but because of the repeated postings of Orlando games on the GARM, its ok to have something else.

Oh, Tmac in Orlando is the past also, so I don't why you are accusing me of living in the past.

Does Charles Barkley bother you that much too?

I notice you don't mention a thing about this great performance.

Charles gets a lifetime free pass for helping us beat Seattle. The younger fans really have no idea what that meant at the time.

i've seen artest plays a lot; certain times he doesn't even put effort out there (ala last yr in sacto in several games).

the only guy i can see putting out effort regardless if we're down by 20 or up by 100 is scola.

Barkley likes Scola, he's mentioned it many times. but this board selectively listens when Chuck talks.

chuck does say some intelligent things at times; but sometimes he doesn't know what he's talking about b/c he's stubborn.

not everything he says is right or even close to being right.

    Barkley making friends

A friend of mine ate at NXNW, a trendy, new brew pub in Austin, this weekend and when talking to one of the staff at the restaurant, was told that Charles Barkley stopped by the establishment for drinks, etc. the previous Wednesday (when the Rockets were in Austin for camp) and ended up picking up the tab for the entire bar.... to the tune of over $16,000. So Scottie, what have you done for anyone lately?

As I watched Barkley sit courtside and receive ovations from the fans in Boston for the last time as a player, I'm reminded of the game I was able to sit courtside in Boston and watch Barkley dominate the Celtics in his first month as a Rocket. Barkley got something then from the fans in Boston that you will rarely, if ever, see: A standing ovation for an opponent. He was that impressive. We loaded up the Clutch Recap from November 29, 1996 ... enjoy.

I'm sure Bill Simmons would be seen as a great Boston fan fan if he repeatedly heckled anything to do with Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett & their fans. And made T-Wolves Garnett talk off limits, but then himself gush on and on about Dino Radja.

Gotta love Sir Charles, truly greatness, the second best power forward in history behind Tim Duncan. IMO

Why is this thread making so many references to tmac?

Imagine if Chuck was 6'10'' , he was 6'4'' and dominated the boards.

The Warrior's defense in that game would make Van Gundy embarrassed.

This thread exists because someone had a bone about someone else who raved about TMac's Orlando days.

This is getting old... or childish. Can something be both old and childish?
