Let's not pretend that the Kings are the Rockets. We have two other legit superstars to lean on. It's the beauty of having three options. If one goes down to injury, or in this case gets tossed from a game, we still have the two other options. I'm not saying that we would'nt need all of those guys to beat the Boston's and LA's of the league but with Yao and T-Mac we know what we have and those two guys alone have a chance to beat those teams on any given night
I guess I'm just not a fan of reckless emotion, beating one's chest, and talking trash to fans instead of focusing on the game. Artest is a great talent, but all that other stuff diminishes him. I hope he works on channeling all that emotion and aggression towards productive basketball plays.
How can you not the competitive nature of a player? Plus he didn't do anything wrong, first off they are in Utah, the "so-called" best home team in the league. Second, Harping and the rest of the Jazz were trying to F around with him as well, he was just playing fair ball. I can't wait next season, we are going to crush the Jazz.
Reminds me of Rodman!!! Dont know why, but i think Rockets need a player with his attitude and physicalness. Rockets r just too soft n too nice. I love the hustle from Artest, going after every loose ball!! Scola n Artest hustle n physical makes this team different!! Cant wait for the season n cant wait for the Rockets vs. Jazz, its gonna be very physical hopefully we give them taste of their own medicine!!
i dont understand at all why..."you love it" what do you love? that rons team is losind with 5 minutes to go or how matt harpring manhandled ron the whole game
I'm loving his attitude on the court. Seeing basketball become a ROUGH HOUSE (in this case with the Jazz) makes me mad honestly. After two post seasons in a row against them, I'm convinced they are a dirty team. That being said, it feels good seeing someone take into their own hands the situation and express themself instead of feeling restrained to do so by the officials. In my opinion Ron Artest in that video was trying to make a statement: "You may push other people around, but I'm not getting pushed around without fighting back" I honestly like seeing that for a change. Kind of like this next video with Rafer and Desmond Mason. Rafer sticking up for his teammate. You GOT TO LOVE a guy who does that. That has so much heart and self respect to not be bullied.

I definitely understand your concerns. Love OR Hate Ron Artest, this what you are going to get. This is Ron-Ron. There are going to be games his emotions get the best of him. It was Rodman, its Sheed to a lesser extent, its "Ron-Ron". Its gonna happen! Its just hoping that he keeps himself relatively under control so that he still contributes productively to the team. If and when this deal goes down and we get the Ron Artest that played for the Kings the past couple of years, realistically, thats probably BEST case scenario. And I for one am fine with that.
Those guys have the ability to play around with the fans and not let it be a distraction. Artest doesn't exhibit that type of mental fortitude.
I remember when Stevie stood up for Yao like that. Good stuff, and I hope he'll be backin up Yao again this year. And now we added Dorsey, too... we actually have a lotta guys on this team that don't f*** around. I like it, so long as it never gets too outta hand, heh.
I remember that as well -- Steve pushing Amare after he dunked over Yao and showed some emotion. I hated that stuff. I guess we're on a different page, here.
