    No way,that was a deliberate swing with the intent of hitting him. He needs to be punished by not only the league but by the Rockets as well. RA and DM have to let him know,he needs to own up and that this is intolerable to the organization.

    He will get ZERO.... oh wait, Ariza no longer plays with Kobe and the Lakers, so I guess he will get 2 games suspension!

    I think that was very much deliberate. you dont swipe at the ball with your elbow. i'm just glad it didnt land and seriously hurt DD, plus it will suspend ariza for like 10 games

    I think 2 days suspension is more reasonable for that play.

    He shouldn't be suspended..he was just trying to congradulate him on the steal but missed..it's all good!!

    I really want to like Rudy F. but this freaking euro pu**y crap of going out on a stretcher makes it hard.

    He missed two games with a hip pointer. Would have had the same problem even if TA got all ball.

    honestly i don't think we'll ever be saying "We really missed Ariza today" if he missed a game due to injury or whatnot.

    whenever the Rockets win it's because of: Landry, Brooks, Scola, Budinger, or the gritty play of Lowry and Hayes.

    Ariza is basically an afterthought in all of our wins. Rockets management needs to give him a red light instead of green light.

    The suspension definitely needs to be greater than 1 game (probably 2-3). He deliberately threw his elbow and it wasn't like a swipe at the ball or anything. Pretty terrible stuff especially if he connected.

    Awful. He should be suspended 2-3 games for that and if it had connected and done damage then a major suspension would be in order.

    But yeah, bad Ariza. Not cool. I think he is suspended two games. I hope this opens the window for T-Mac, but I'm not going to hold my breath.
