That's why we got ariza, to do that throughout the whole game like he did with the lakers...problem is, we have no superstars so he think he is one and tries to do everything. Just wait till we get a superstar o two, your gonna be seeing a whole lot more of this.

 

ariza actually played pretty well tonight. hopefully he can build on this.

this was wrong. you can do this in the fourth quarter but not in first. that insults the other team and triggered to play harder.

 

Great steal and he increased his shooting % last night.

A lot of people haven't seemed to notice, but Ariza's "game" has been evolving. At the start of the season he was constantly trying to create for himself and ended up chucking a lot. Now he's driving a lot and getting more and more successful at penetrating. He's also moving a lot more off the ball, and making some pretty sweet cuts to the basket.

The veil of rage people have at his FG% seems to cover these improvements he's been making. He still chucks up a bad shot a few times per game, but it's getting less frequent. I'm liking what I'm seeing a lot more these days, actually.
