Sure, you have to take it in context, but I think the results were pretty obvious last night. Kyle played a more effective and efficient game and had a bigger positive impact.

There's this thing that adults do that's called "calming down", using "logic", and "rationale".

It's one thing to be mad in the heat of the moment (again, while highly unprofessional and potentially costly for AB to get that tech, I can give him a heat of the moment pass on that), but irrational for him to continue to pout about it after the fact.

AB seems to be in a perpetual pout since he's come back.

Were you looking for a reason to type penis? The ball hit him in his upper chest. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that you didn't notice that since you were first telling me that Love was going for a rebound when he got fouled.

The defense of Aaron Brooks never rest.. even when they're clearly wrong. Oh well.

Yup, +/- without context is indeed BS. That was the excuse last year when Lowry consistently had a better +/- right? That he ran it up by playing against other backups. That he had the luxury of playing with shooters like Budinger, while Brooks was stuck with offensive liabilities like Hayes and Battier. That's why Lowry's +/- was so much better, right?

    So what's the excuse now?

I got to apologize as it seems like I am on you all the time, but you keep on lobbing these soft balls, it is just too tempting to smash em. Too easy.

Absolutely think it helped and quite a bit but playing the what if game wasn't the question at hand. The question was did they have the same impact or who had the greater impact and it was Lowry. Whether it was because he had Martin and Scola balling or maybe it was because he had the better night, results are results when it comes to this particular question.

I put the impact more on Scola, Shane and Battier's lap than either KL or AB...I thought they were both pretty bad, AB much worse though.

When Luke Ridnour is blowing by you like you are standing in cement it is not a good sign.

It is another to let the league know that you thought it was intentional of Love.

I applaud AB for saying what was on his mind....

    Ridiculous.

Not only did Love's hands swing multiple times previously in the play - where he just didn't happen to slap somebody in the face because while there's a lot of swinging generally going on in basketball, often faces are avoided, but Love was being fouled hard at the moment in question. Fouled and being pulled by the foul forward.

Which makes the comparison idiotic. To make it a better comparison (though still dumb), consider a pitcher who is fouled on the arm during the pitch, but still gets the pitch off and brushes a batter of the plate. Moreover, after the pitch, when the batter immediately starts charging the mound the pitcher does a complete "mea culpa" in expression and body language.

Impossible to know 100% if that's intentional. But Kevin Love is either both able to predict the future (and know that he was going to be in a position to get fouled and swing his arm into Aaron Brooks face) and an amazing actor ("I'm going to sneak a quick slap in here, and when the dude gets mad I need to be sure to act really really remorseful!") or it ACTUALLY WAS UNINTENTIONAL.

Shouldn't you be calling me a name or apologizing for the comment?

Hey JayZ750, I've watched it several times at home and on the site. I'm not arguing, I'm giving my opinion. So if you are being"sucked in" then that's on you. I think AB made a mistake, I said I didn't agree with his reaction. I also think Love did it on purpose. Yes his hand went out but it was more of a whoa hold up than an extension to shake.

To say from the video it is an open and shut case that Love didn't hit AB on purpose is ridiculous. It would be ridiculous if I said it was open and shut that he did it on purpose.

Once again, agree to disagree. I'm not arguing, I'm giving my opinion.

    Jay,

We are not going to agree, I have watched that video over and over it is intentional, there is nothing that will change my mind.

Love did it on purpose.....I think what is ridiculous is people on here whinging about one of our own players who got hit in the face getting pissed off.

He has a right to be pissed off, get hit in the nose by someone you think did it on purpose and see how you react.

    Ridiculous is right.

We're wasting our time in this argument. Let's just take solace in knowing that we're right and those foolishly siding with DD are now subject to his curse.

Fair enough. At least got you admitting AB was actually worse last night - the point in contention.

As an aside, Kyle had the highest +/- of anybody on the team last night. AB had the lowest.

I assume you meant Scola, Shane and Martin above (said Battier twice). Scola and Martin combined were only a +10. Shane clearly had a great game.

I'm blocked at work, but www.popcornmachine.net should give you a good view of who AB played with and when.

    serves no purpose.

Your answer is in your own post, if you actually have the ability to think more deeply about it.

Your right because the automatic assumption is that he's pretending to be a "thug" or "rapper" since he's "black"

If Chase made this sign, we wouldn't even be having this discussion.

Ah....racism, you have to love it

Great point! People give DD too much of a hard time...most of the time.

But he takes some really strange stances sometimes...most of which don't turn out right for him.

It did a couple of years ago when Kobe was doing the same thing....the league cracked down on it....

Most are right, but the ones that are wrong, due to my pedantic nature get tossed back a lot...lol...

It's ok.....everyone wants a piece of the big dog !

Are you really dumb or just pretending?

AB is the one playing against backups now.

AB is the one playing with shooters now.

Lowry is the one stuck with the offensive liabilities in Hayes and Battier now.

Lowry is the one playing against tougher competition in starters now.

WHY LOWRY STILL HAS BETTER PLUS MINUZ????

Probably right in that the wrong ones get publicized more. That said, which were right?

The hit Love gave him looked intentional to me. Having said that, AB could have cost us the game with that stunt. His temper and loss of composure late in games has always been something I disliked about him.
