Yeah, before the injury Aaron Brooks drove the ball in the lane more often. It looks like his settling for jumpshots more now.

I still don't think AB is 100% yet in terms of speed and quickness, but dam it looks good when our team finally has someone who can legit create shots for himself

he did pretty good job, and he was guarding Pierce for a couple of positions and he was really impressive.

Looks like his shot and most of his quickness have returned. He still hasn't gotten his first step back yet though. Brooks at 100% would have blown past Marquis Daniels.

    Lowry/Brooks
    Brooks/Lowry

It is one position that we never have to worry about.

I think Courtney Lee and Terrence Williams are the two guys to keep around as bench wings/guards, because they can play both ways. Brooks gives us enough of a scoring punch, imo. If we are going for Granger, or Carmelo, I think Martin, Budinger and one of Hill/Scola will be on the move.

    Guards/Wings
    Aaron Brooks
    Kyle Lowry
    Courtney Lee
    Terrence Williams
    Danny Granger/Carmelo Anthony

I think that is a fantastic balance of scoring, playmaking and defense.

The question is, can we figure out the bigs?

To me, Patrick Patterson should be a foundation to what we are trying to do.

Every other big is available, imo.

This was the Aaron Brooks that we want to see, but i warn you, this is not the Aaron Brooks that we will always get. Just keeping it real.

He delivered alot last season. This season? Not so much, but Lowry has been stepping up and I think that competition hasn't allowed Brooks to be as free as he was last season. I love our players but we have to work a rotation out.

He's still an undersized jump shooter no matter what. When he's ain't scoring he's a liability. But at least he can create his own shot which were falling. Other times people call his head for missing.

When he's on, Brooks is the closest thing this team has to a closer.

We call for his head when he makes things too. Some of his shot selections are seriously questionable-- but looking at it on the bright side, he tends to make even bad shots more often than most chuckers.

AB's shooting really has been missed. I forgot just how important he is. Hopefully this means he's back on the right track and also Lowry can start playing well again.

I really do like AB and love to watch him shoot the ball but lets face he has shown no progression on his passing skills. He is not ever going to be a high assist man. He is scorer in a pg body and once he ages and loses his speed he will not be worth a damn. I say we trade high with him now. He is going to demand more salary than we want to pay next year and if SAC or anyone else wants him so bad then lets do it.

That being said I don't like Lowry as the starter. Lowry is better suited as a spark plug off the bench. The way he pushes the ball and plays in clutch I want him coming off the bench.

So who starts? We need a verteran pg until we can obtain a young stud pg, we need to find a way to land a Nash, Paul, Billups, or even an Andre Miller. At least until we can obtain our own Rose, WAll, Rondo etc.
