i wonder what these people do when they pass by the victoria's secrets stores in the mall...do they look the other way? do they cover their eyes and those of their kids?
That sucks that the local affiliate's get in hot water over essentially being the middle-man broadcasting what the parent company is pushing in their line-up.
just another reason that i think local tv, abc, cbs & nbc are all al joke. if you want pure comedy, just watch the local news..... what a joke. its really sad to see how far think have sunk to get a "story".. and then they are concerned about the victoria secret deal... thank god for cable...
better for me dont get off work till 11pm and people are (hopefully) going to watch the Rockets game anyway... at 9pm
It may seem unlikely, but that's how it works. The network gets a hit, the local affiliate gets a hit. It makes zero sense, but this is the federal government we're talking about!

Boy, I never figured Houston TV as being prudish. But first pushing Conan O'Brien to like 2 am or something and now this. Seems like the guidelines at these Houston affiliates are more conservative than that of the nationwide Network.
Good point I'm not saying you are full of crap, just doesn't make sense. The whole thing with shows like this getting moved is just incredibly ridiculous to me. Do people really think that seeing t*tties or ass are going to ruin little kids? Its just a body. Everyone pretty much has the same junk so it isnt like its this huge surprise. I just dont get it.
