I thought Pence did land some blows but it didn't feel any of them were really substantive. In regards to "packing the court", Harris didn't want to give him a direct answer and Pence seem to continually try to pound her on it but I am not sure it's a key issue for anyone outside of conservatives. The pre-existing conditions attack was pretty brutal in that Pence didn't have a good answer. The rest was a lot of attacks that didn't feel substantiated by either side.
This moderator was awful, no wonder she works for USA today - also - I doubt many caught this, her closing thoughts and prayers for the president and first lady, and not the 200,000 Americans dead and millions more affected, by COVID19 was a goddamed disgrace.
The entitled to your opinion line was so rehearsed and doa. And he even used it twice which made it even less effective. Lol, his stiff delivery of that was about as I would expect from a guy who looked like he was sleep walking through the debate.
My point is that it's a terrible line, especially when it was rehearsed, coming from an administration that has done nothing but lie to the American people for most of its time in office.
On the 2nd time, she should have said ... "That's twice you've used that line. Did you get that line from Dr Fauci saying it to President Trump?"
I don’t know why Kamala didn’t bring that up. The fact that trump even after catching the virus still hasn’t shown any empathy for the millions that have be effected by covid and the 200k+ that have died.
