They have a conversion chart on their website but I'd go to a store like REI and try on a pair (or similar style) to make sure. I wear two different sizes depending on the style.
Do not use these unless you plan to run on (soft) grass or on the beach. Using these in concrete will destroy your knee. I speak from experience.
I run exclusively on concrete and have been doing so in my Vibrams for a couple years now without even a hint of injury. My guess is you either have weak knees or your form is poor. You probably plodded along like someone who is still wearing thick rubber soles.
Agreed. I only run on concrete and have used these for 3 years now. He may be a heel striker, which will hurt him more on concrete than softer ground.
