no maybe about it! Hey man as I said I am not at all a cat person but I did a good will thing and picked this guy up off the freeway. Now he's mine I guess. They told me at the vets office that he would have better health without his "little guys" so I did it. BTW, I am doing some remodeling on a bedroom leading into the bathroom. The bathroom has a way out that he is well aware of. He moved the gallon of paint I had blocking the door closed and got out! ( the door is crooked and wont shut correctly) damn, I thought for sure a gallon would stop him! I guess he aint so hurt afterall. Just got him back inside and added 15lb dumbell to the gallon of paint and gave him some painkiller.....that should teach him.
bumping this to ask for any more vet referrals. Family member has a female dog with a possible inguinal hernia. I checked the SNAP website where they offer specific services at reduced or no cost and i see nothing for hernias, other than an "umbilical hernia repair" that's done at the time of spaying. Not sure if an inguinal hernia would also count though. I can't get a live person on the phone, only a recording directing me to their site. thanks in advance for any replies.
don't know what part of town you're in RV6 but this place is awesome. http://www.insiderpages.com/b/3722384913/gulfgate-animal-hospital-houston the only downside is you may wait awhile, not just because of the clients in front of you but the Dr actually takes his time to talk to you about the dog's issues.
Pearland Animal Hospital, they're great. Check-up, pain-pills and flea meds for two dogs. $130, check them out.
This guy is very good and reasonable. He takes his time listening and explaining. http://www.ponderosaanimalclinic.com/ Very nice staff as well.
