Ok I hate it when stats are brought up but I will say it :)

Redd has almost 2 shots per game less than T-mac
    Shoots a better FG and 3pt %
And get this he gets to the basket a lot more !!! And he makes his Free Throws > Huge for me
Add to that he's not injury prone like T-mac and that he doesn't have as much milege as T-mac

So with you saying he jacks up a lot of shots doesn't make sense.. Have you watched when T-mac plays?

And then T Mac could be injured, Bonzi could go into a funk and we could get a high lottery pick. Instant rebuild around Yao.

I agree. why do we want Redd??? He is a much much isolated shooter than Tmac. Tmac could be a play maker and do much more than just scoring if he wants to.
and why do we give up Wells?? isn't his style what we need?
To people say yes to the trade, go watch more Bucks games :(

You should really highlight the part where it says
    "if he wants to"

I think all of us knows he's capable of being the best in the league it's just that he chooses when he wants too..

Why can't people get it through their heads?! We need at least a borderline superstar back in exchange for T-Mac. Yao and the team have been playing good recently, but how long can they sustain it? Without another threat out there, teams will revert back to triple teams on Yao and if the shots are off again, then we are doomed!

Please stop with the Mac trades! We won't give him up for garbage. Half-assed T-Mac is better than garbage!

This is getting ridicules. Since we are on it, why don't we do a Yao/Wells/1st rounder for Redd/Bogut. That way, the Rockets got a solid center, a pure shooter, and you have TMac as the star; the Buck will get an all-china team.

Redd is a pure shooter, like the old Glen Rice. With TMac, the Bucks will be a much better team, and become a top SIX team in the East, that means the Rockets won't get much for the 1st rounder. No one is stupid enough to make this trade, except, maybe Vescey?

So... the major question of Mike Redd's life will change from:

"Why Redd no pass to Yi?" to "Why Redd no pass to Yao?"

I imagine even the rumor of being traded to Milwaukee is enough to motivate T-Mac to play hard.

Not a bad deal if true:

    - Bucks suck, so their 1st rounder will be a lottery
    - Villanueva is big, athletic, decent rebounder, and plays well around the basket. Most importantly he is young (2nd or 3rd year). Villanueva for Wells will be sweet.
    - Redd is not as good as Tmac overall. Redd shoots better %, but not as good a playmaker, and is more selfish (doesn't pass willingly). Redd is healthier, so that's a plus.

BUT, that said, why would Tmac want to go? Not that he has a choice, but if the trade is requested by Tmac, Bucks won't be his request. No way!

I doubt very much this would happen.

redd can shoot and score in so many ways. he moves well without the ball, as far as playmaker, he wont have in this new offense. he is not a streaky shooter like tmac and id rather have that than tmac getting tired and jacking up threes. i like the way redd just goes about his bussiness scores 20 to 30 points and just goes home and you dont hear about how he took over the game and whatnot.

Tracy would get the Bucks into the playoffs just to spite us, so the draft pick wouldn't be worth as much. Preferably a star or an unprotected pick from a team near the bottom of the standings. The Rockets haven't squelched these rumors, though. That's certainly a turnaround from training camp when the they
made it clear that Tracy wasn't on the block.

Watching the Bucks play is hilarious. Any team that guards their two black holes will win the game.

i'd do TMac/Battier for Redd & Yi plus whatever extras need to be added on either side to make the salaries match.....not sure milwaukee would be willing to part with their young talent though...

TMac's problem is mental. If he would give some effort on offense without the ball and defence, then he'd be a fantastic player. If he would stop jacking up horrible shots early in the shot clock, then he'd be an efficient player. As it is, he is a lazy player who *had* a lot of potential.
