very honest and interesting interview with a Muslim Cleric on "What is Islam"

But who is killing and targeting innocent civilians? Who are "they". I just want to be really clear here.

 

1) I know what honest means. Why was it particularly relevant to this guy? Why did you not mention that he has slightly brown skin? or that he has a beard? What made honesty stick out for you?

2) As discussed, when you use the word honest, it must be a distinguishing factor. Like if I say you are an honest person, it implies that honesty is somewhat different from the norm. If everyone in the world was honest, I wouldn't bother going out of my way to call you honest 7 million times in one thread.

3) To describe someone as honest, you must know what they are being honest about. Unless you are saying he is just transparent about his views - that's a different thing. But if I say you are honest about how much money you have, it means I must know how much money you have. So with you calling this guy honest, you must be implying that you knew what the truth is and confirmed his honesty when he 'admitted' it.

Just tell me, what makes you sure that he's honest? How do you know he is not secretly an atheist? How is he different than others? Are you aware of any dishonest people in similar positions?

 

I am 100% against suicide bombings, as I'm sure every other rational person is.

Having said that, who else (other than innocent civilians) do you expect these people to target? You said it yourself that they are "technologically inferior" to the militaries of the US and Israel, so in their minds (however twisted) they have no one else to target, except for innocent civilians.
