How many shooting coaches are the Rockets going to bring in for summer league?

Taylor has a lot of room to improve, but I bet he could put up gaudy numbers in RGV if surrounded by shooters.

"a lot of room to improve" sounds like a PC way of saying you suck. I don't like this pick up if he has "a lot of room to improve"

Settle down... he's an undrafted free agent rookie. If he didn't have a lot of room to improve, he would've been drafted and not a Rocket.

Well what I meant to express was there is reason to believe he could be a player in the NBA, but he will have to improve in various ways first.

I agree with you that taking a flawless player is preferable to one with flaws, but unfortunately that's not how real life works.

He has a great stroke and his percentages have improved every year.

His freethrow percentage is good indicator of his shooting potential.

Interesting to see all these three year deals when we have at least 45,000,000 in capspace.

We'll see. He's exciting and is someone who has the ability to really turn it on in important situations. Given a great coach with an established system, he could actually be serviceable. That being said, I don't see him making the actual roster, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him have a successful NBA career.

When teams asked him if he wanted to drafted late in the first round / 2nd round and play 1-2 years in the D-League. That pretty much spells doom..

Sorry to bump. Going to a HS homecoming game tonight at a school my mom works at. Isaiah Taylor went there. He's the honorary captain, I will be meeting him for sure. I'll get an autograph in case he takes the league by storm lol.

I guess not? If it was just him going to the game I would say they are misinformed and he is in China, but they have him as the "honorary captain" so I think they know he is coming.
