we ran some five on fives. i think if we were in better shape, we could have won. we lost by two. i could have won it, but i missed the lay up. i should have slowed it down, it was 1 on 2.
We missed easy layups, and I'm pretty sure Kurt and I could have been driving at will had we had the gas, but damn playing defense against their Phoenix Suns style offense was wearing my big ass out.
Yeah, they weren't skilled and they didn't have any kind of size advantage on us at all, but they had way more energy, pressured the ball a lot, and were scrappy. I knew I could pretty much weave past their defenders at any time, but it was taking quite a bit out of me by the time I would actually score. I was completely out of gas about half way through before I caught my second wind. I guess I shouldn't be surprised since I haven't played regularly since the ankle sprain/break/tear/whatever 6 months ago. Thanks again, Miguel. By the way, the "no 2 pointers" rule is so prole. I made 2 or 3 of them anyway, which obviously would have been the difference. Oh well. I agree with Raven though. Time to find a new spot...again.
