I probably won't be there until like 4:30 at the earliest. I'm going to stay as long as there is people who want to play. Courts at I-10 and TC Jester. Just exit TC Jester and stay on the feeder and it runs right into the court (if you are going west).

It looks like these regulars who show up start to get there around 5 PM and they stay for a good 2-3 hours before taking off, other than that I think the court is pretty secluded.

I think we should go back to playing earlier in the day like on Saturday afternoons around 1 or so

I have no comments regarding the pick up games, but I didn't now where else to say "Luc Richard Mbah a Moute can go **** himself."

You and I were well on our way to a 6-6 tie in fantasy this week when I noticed that Derek Fisher had 4 steals in the first quarter tonight and put me just baaaarely ahead in the steals category. Then, your last player...Mr. Lucky ass Richard Mbah a Mutate goes off in the second half and nabs 4 of his own to swing it all back in your favor.

And Chris Paul only had 2 freaking games this week. F***!!!!!

Yeah, there weren't really enough of us there, jcee. Moes had to leave after a couple games. After the 3rd game I jammed the **** out of my left thumb (it's swollen up like a balloon today) so I had to go too and I think everyone just dispersed after that. That was a little after 6, so we probably just missed you.

I like the idea of playing earlier in the day Saturday. That court is great in just about every way except for the crowds. If we can find some non peak hours and go start playing regularly, it would be perfect.

    RocketFire's got some game!

Yeah, I think we all bolted once Raven jammed his thumb. Didn't like playing with those dudes.

I mean, no 2 pointers? WTF is that about?

    Luc Richard ftw.

And even if CP3 had played another game I still would have had you in assists because Ray Felton forgot he's a ****ty PG this week.

    Until we meet again...

Steals man, steals! I lost by 2 and Paul averages 2.8! But you're right that I still would have lost assists even with another game from him. I might have also had a very slim chance at points.

What's funny to me is how much the week to week match ups have seemed to screw me. When you add everyone's rankings across the 12 categories, mine comes out to 50, which is the lowest of all (being a good thing). As an annual rotisserie player, I'm not used to it. In that format I would be 1st

But I do have Team Canada this week, so a 12-0 week isn't out of the question :D Not only does he have Arenas and McGrady, but he doesn't seem to set his lineup either.

Yeah I know, steals are important... Mario Chalmers didn't get as many as he has been getting either, and Mbah A Moute is a defensive stalwart.

In fantasy football, you can really get screwed by the head-to-head matchups, because there is only a win or a loss and you only play 12-15 matchups. In fantasy basketball, if your team is good, even if you have a bad matchups, it will eventually catch up and the best teams will start to have the best overall categorical records. I've been playing head to head in yahoo for many years and I can say that I've been the best team in a lot of leagues but never got high up in the standings until 3-4 months into the season.

I'm a good team, but not great.

I always do well in totals and suck in percentages, and the current year-to-date stats are evident of that.

Anyone interested in playing midday tomorrow? Or perhaps directly after football on Sunday?

I can do either tomorrow or Sunday, and I propose a 2-ish start time.

It's going to warm up pretty nice to 70 (give or take a few degrees) but the downside is the wind. Supposed to reach 22mph tomorrow and 19 on Sunday.
