Pretty sure their security is a firm they hire to patrol the area, so it would have done no good to argue with or make any offers to the guy, he was just doing his job so we just left without incident.

Perhaps if we offered to make a monthly donation and sign some sort of release forms...

shot in the dark but at this point what do we have to lose?

I'm too good to play at Fonde.

    It's not ghetto.

    The court is nice.

What do you mean you are too good to play at Fonde? Does the competition suck that much?

i definitely think we should give the center at least one more shot.

either see if they kick us off again, or as pointed out try and negotiate in some way. nobody uses it, we're not tearing the baskets up, we're only there one day a week for a couple of hours. obviously they could just say too bad and still kick us off, but it's worth a try, given the quality of the setup.

Yeah, i kick those guys ass all the time.

I think Fonde would have too much of the basketball equivalent of douche bags. I park at that parking lot every day, and I see these guys with shorts hanging half off their asses. They look like Capri pants.

So, how do you guys feel about playing in doors?

There's this rec center that belongs to Lyondell near my work off of 225. They allowed us to join for a low low fee of $55 for the whole year.

Meaning, only people that have a membership can use the rec center. We're allowed to bring in guests, so that wouldn't be a problem.

Unfortunately, the only times that are available for use are during the weekdays (M-T).

So, I propose, if you guys want, we can use this center. It's air conditioned. It's indoors. The floor isn't slippery and the rims are not doubled.

I've noticed that Tuesdays and Wednesdays are generally slow. Chances are, if we go on those days, we'd have the center all to ourselves.

So, what do you guys think? If I had pictures, I'd post some... but I don't.

    It's a nice court, however.

Let me know what you guys think.

Tomorrow is better for me. Any ideas on a new court? I really don't wanna play on that slippery court again.
