Wow didn't know you couldn't do bluetooth file sharing. I always give friends songs from my phone to their phones when I have a song they don't have.

I don't know what you are talking about, but here is a link to their 3g coverage map.

iDon't like real keyboards. Moving parts = fail.
iDon't have the need to run simultaneous apps. But the hardware will catch up and it will be a nice convenience to get push notes from background apps.
iDon't see much difference between 2MP and 5MP camera phones. If I care about taking a good picture, I'll bring my *real* camera.
    iDon't customize? Rofl. Sure buddy.
iDon't even know what a widget is, so I doubt I'm missing it. Probably just another name for some else iPhone already does.
iHave a giant app store with thousands of developers. Open enough for me!
iLike having a sleak looking phone more than a crappy little flash that barely works.
iDon't need an interchangeable battery because if I have a problem Apple fixes it happily and quickly.
iDon't support flash. But neither do most. And if I'm going to do flash stuff, I'd rather be on a computer.
    iDo have voice calling.

Put the haterade down son, let someone else grip 'n sip!

Yup exactly. Apple are a control freaks. You have to JB your crappy iPhone to turn it into a decent phone and there are ridiculous hardware add-ons if needed to make it into a phone that it should've been. JB is the only thing that is saving the iPhone of becoming a disgrace. If people who disagreed. I dare them to unjail break their iPhone and use the default settings and see how far they'll go with the iPhone.

mmmmm. The shots at other users with the 'I'm so much smarter than everyone else!' bitterness is particularly tasty. Keep em coming!

It's makes me laugh how fanboys defend their iPhone to the death even knowing how overhype it is. Instead of a reasonable comeback. You know they will start using the personal attack tactic when they know it a lost cause to defend it.

not at all. I tried the iPhone for about 15 days, discovered all the things it lacks or it sucked at, and decided that it is not the phone for me (or the phone that apple claims to be). Gave it to my aunt, and what do you know, she loves it!

that's how I drew my conclusion, I'm not taking shots at people or pretending like I'm smarter than anyone else. I just prefer to spend time on customizing my phone and optimizing its performance to fit my needs, and many people (who might be way smarter than me, by the way) don't prefer to spend this time and thus settle for the iPhone. This doesn't change the fact that any windows mobile device is vastly superior to the iPhone in terms of performance, reliability, flexibility, and customization (or should I say FREE customization?)

the iPhone has simplicity and ease of use, but that's about it

That may well be the case for you (though lots of non iPhone users tend to dislike Windows Mobile). That you prefer one OS over the other really is not a big deal.

****ting all over the users of another OS by trying to act like they must all be aunts and grandmas is laughable and is just messageboard fodder.

trying to type on tiny letters on the screen= FAIL-ER
you need glasses if you can't tell the difference between 2mp and 5mp cameras
and isn't the whole point of an entertainment phone is to be an "all in one" device that combines several gadgets? I mean, might as well bring your *real* mp3 player and *real* calculator with you and just settle for a free flip phone!
answer this question: can you change/customize the appearance of the following screen?

LMAO. I know you don't exactly like "knowing" stuff, but I suggest you google "widget", and no it's a name for something the iphone has haha.
Wait, did you say giant app "store", you mean, you actually PAY *money* for your "apps". Oops, I get them for free from open source developers! and I even tweak some of those apps to make them fit my needs even better! but I wish I was rich like you!
    crappy little flash LOLOL
come back to me in 12-16 months, and tell me how apple fixed your decreasing battery life. better yet, tell me how you had to buy ANOTHER iPhone when your current iPhone's battery died and unlike me, you couldn't just order a replacement battery for 30 dollars on ebay.
yes, that's exactly what flash is for: to "do flash stuff". nailed it
    congrats

The iPhone is a nice phone but it definitely isn't end all be all.

If you haven't yet, take the time to check out Android. Plenty of apps, even some that you can't find on the iPhone yet (Google Sky Map). Though it's definitely lacking in games if that is your thing

For the poster who blew off customizable... iphone just doesn't compare to android. From the widgets to the skins there is just so much out there.

Android models have both physical and software keyboards. Up to you which you like better. Thing is, the options is there for Android.

Multi-tasking is nice. Once you get used to it, it's hard to go back. However, by no means is it necessary. The one thing that would be hard to do without is background notification.

Now Android does have it's flaws... all current iterations are running on slower hardware, it's not as smooth as the iPhone 3Gs (though by no means is it shabby) and in some areas the iPhone interface is more user friendly/has more eye candy.

In the end it's all about preference.

At least Android give the users what they want not like like the iPhone. Even though there are flaws and bugs on the Android. It only going to get better and they are listening to the people while Apple turn a blind eye and giving their users the middle fingers.
