Agreed. Which is why I find it hard to believe that anyone in a position to encourage a tech to do so, would actually, do so. Doesn't make alot of sense given the gross liability that whole situation creates (and I am an insurance guy, so I always look at most things from a liability standpoint). If a tech took a customer's vehicle to go get his lunch, or go home for lunch, and killed someone in an accident, the deceased's family would own that dealership when the smoke cleared.
