I prefer black or a dark/forest green color. Silver works on some vehicles.

I'm really liking the dark-tone gray that I see around though.

I've had a few silver cars. Some cars look very sharp in silver, and if I've got a German-made car, I feel obligated to at least consider the silver since German cars are supposed to be silver (just like British cars need to be British Racing Green).

My Altima is a teal color. I like the color.

I've had white cars in the past, but it looks too generic to me. Don't like it on most cars.

I've had all sorts of colors: red Ford Ranger, silver Trans Am, light blue metallic Celica, dark blue Oldsmobile, black Eclipse, red Integra, white Probe, red/black Explorer, yellow Nissan NX1600, tan Topaz, grey Corsica, white F150, silver A4, teal Altima.

    Excellent and profound point.

My heart aches for a black vehicle. However, as I've gotten older, my brain participates a lot more in my decisions. As recently as three years ago, when buying a vehicle, it was a matter of want. Now, there are all these issues such as gas mileage, resale value, insurance, maintenance, blah, blah, blah.

I like black or silver... with a big raider logo on the hood!

    ARRR!

No, really, black. It gets dirty, big deal. Looks good clean. Looks good at night. Black + chrome = nice.

When I first got it, I was washing it damn near 3 x a week in my vain attempt to keep it spotless. But living in an apartment, with it being outside 24/7 plus being hit with sprinkler system a couple times a week was driving me nuts with it. Luckily I now have a garage so that helps a lot and I only wash it every weekend (if im lucky). I will wax it once every 90 days.

Its crazy how every single spec of dirt will show up like a neon strobe light with a black car.

I have never had a white car. White only looks good on some cars to me, on others, it makes the car look cheap to me. Guess it depends on the make of car.

I've test drove one when I was shoppin last year. Nice car, lots of features for the price. But in the end, it felt too small for me (im 6'2" 200lbs)

I'm happy that I went with my black Mustang GT

Yeah, was out there all last week. My girl & I split the seafood special (& 2 carafes of vino) and still had enough leftovers to box up & give to one of the guys in Wash Square (threw in a couple of handfulls of gummy bears too). Probably would've gained 10 lbs on the trip if not for all the walking. Wonderful city.

I test-drove the RSX Type S when I got my Nissan. It was definitely tempting, but I decided four-doors was important to me. Otherwise, that's what I'd be driving.

LAMAR: Oh, look who's here. My old buddy, black Saab.

    JERRY: Maroon Golf.

LAMAR: Where you goin', black Saab? You seem to be a tad askew.

JERRY: Could you move your car back a little?

LAMAR: Oh. Sorry. I seem to have cut you off.

    ....

JERRY: See ya around maroon Golf. And, by the way, that was an "I'm not sorry" wave.

    LAMAR: What was that?

JERRY: I'm glad I cut you off, because black Saab rules! So long, jackass!

So - are you going stock radio or something aftermarket?

I'm kind of tired of my kenwood mp3 deck. I never use the mp3, and the faceplate keeps getting stuck. The sound isn't that good. I used to have an eclipse with sub out, that rocked and was very tune-able. Stolen. Craps.

How about other truck crap? Nerf bars? Bed cover? The power rolling bed cover is sweet. Auto-ignition?

You'll be happier with the black when you have to go out to something fancy at night. Good choice. Don't know if a blue neon ground effect will work good at a bank function, though. :) .

    pasox,

I'll show you my truck when I get it! I ordered the Audiophile system with my truck, so it should sound pretty good. It comes with a 6-disc in-dash CD changer, as well as 6 speakers, and a 8" sub. As for other truck stuff, I can only shell out enough for some right off the bat.

So the first order of business will be getting a Clifford RSX 3.5 alarm, which has remote start as well a 2-way remote LCD pager. Definitely getting some chrome step bars, Line-X spray bedliner, hard tonneau cover, and a bug shield. After that, I'll start pricing out a lift kit to go with some new 20" Weld Evo's that I wanna combine with some 33" Goodyear LT's.

PS. I was going to let you know that my laptop (the same one that you have) had a hardware crash today! It's either hard drive or motherboard. Warranty will be sending me out a new drive, but still, I had mucho softwares installed. So make sure you remember to backup your stuff. (As well as the other stuff)

I don't like black as it does look good when first washed, about 5 minutes later, it attracts the dust and it needs to be washed again...

I like Silver and Blue thought...

    I like black car.

I was in a black car when it got totaled by a guy from behind one night. He said he could not see the car. By the time my brake light came on, it was too late.
Look around while driving at night, which color can you see? Remember you only have a second or two to react.

    I bought a beige and a silver car since ! ;)
