What a difference two weeks makes.

Since the Rudy Gay catastrophe, we've essentially added not one, not two, but three promising rookies:

    Novak
    V-Span
    JLIII (knock on wood)

Would I still like Gay? Yep. Do I still regret the trade? Yep. That being said... it stings less. A lot less. Credit where credit's due. Even without Gay, the Rockets brass did a terrific job of infusing the team with young legs and fresh blood. Plus, who are we kidding? It's just flat out FUN to root for rookies. It's fun to dream about the potential. Without Gay, we thought we'd be robbed of that experience. Now, with V-Span, Novak, and JLIII, we'll get the pleasure of watching rookies develop.

Lovin' it. Very, very happy with the past few moves.

O.k how about an impoverished Steve Nash. I think Maloney could pass for that. :D :D Lets face it if he can hit an open shot he'll improve the Rockets.

I believe Vassiliss is more of a poor man's Manu. Apparently, his biggest strength is attacking the rim, something I'd LOVE to see on this team. However he isn't athletic enough as a Manu to be able to create that body control. Still, I'd like to see our team change it up and get to the rim, draw some fouls maybe?

Are you serious? That brilliant combo gave Kelvin Cato a six year $42 million dollar contract!

    article from sport.gr

It announces... royke'ta Vasilis Spanoy'lis has not announced his decision, but the Americans considers given his locomotion in their Ro'kets. American publication makes reason for agreement of international gkarnt with the team of Houston, which forecasts three-year contract of collaboration with acceptances roughly ëk. dollars. Photographs The dream of NVA chases the Spanoy'lis Read also Front the Panathinaikos and behind... royke'ta! Decides the V. Spanoy'lis Distress in the Panathinaikos for the V. Spanoy'li The sum that will spend the Ro'kets is biggest for player, which was selected in the 2nd tour the ntraft (2/50-2004). In the Houston, therefore, they make reason for agreement, however until is announced something and officially (or ap` the side of Spanoy'li, or ap` the Panathinaikos) nothing cannot be considered datum. The Panathinaikos announced in the representative of player that in no one of cases he did not want stands obstacle and waits for the final answer, that is not excluded is announced late the evening of Wednesday (19/7). In case where indeed the "Kill Bill" moves from this year in the Houston, he becomes perceptible that the clover opens a very important metagrafjko' chapter meaning that that it will move to cover the empty La'kovjts - Spanoy'li.

He does have a great first step, quite deceptive. He looks to be quite fearless too at attacking the rim, and will have good success taking advantage of the new handchecking rules. I also like the fact that he's a pretty good passer - can find the open man on the perimeter from inside the post and make nifty passes in traffic. He looks like he can play off screen/rolls very well too. He will obviously need an adjustment period to get used to the NBA but I really do think he's going to be a stud.

For some reason, Kill Bill vaguely reminds me of Vinny Del Negro. Is this a valid comparison at all or am I just thinking this way because they are both about the same size and both are white guys with dark hair?

Very glad to see VSpan made the right choice for himself and Rockets.

He will be your dream player coming off the bench. Instant offense.

And for the price of only 1.5M a year, you wouldnt lose that much even he becomes a bust.

V-Span signed check, JL3 not check, and trading JHO not check. One out of the three isn't bad. I can't wait for V-Span to prove himself. I hope JHO is on his way out(maybe to the Lakers) since it seems the Rockets are getting younger. As for JVG not liking V-Span will I hope he gets over it or he may be out by next season. :)

hahaha. hopefully he gives reason for barkley to scream that out.

i like the additions so far, but something seems to be missing. our guards besides snyder are still small. i think i recall somebody on this posting say something bout kyle korver. is that possible? it'd be a DREAM for korver to play for us. He'd play in every 3-point contest in the all star game as long as he's getting passes from t-mac and yao.

JVG didn't like Hayes or Head either. It's certainly not the kiss-of-death. At least he admits to being wrong. But he seems to be wrong quite a bit. And I'm a JVG-guy.
