Is there a rating of Euro players anywhere?

agree with smoothie, this team needs to be picking up someone 6'8" or taller who can move and shoot, preferably taller. Hawks and their height ate our lunch. MLE for a PG has to be used on someone tall! Dwes may be resigned but for a lot less, Mooch is gone, Bowen should be #15 on the team at best, otherwise we are screwed again. An upgrade on baxter or else real improvement on his part by season end is also needed.

IF V-Span is the real deal we could get a real influx of youth and talent next year. How nice would it be to get V-Span and LaMarcus Aldridge. I don't know how good we would be next year but I think we would be very good for future years to come.

I remember when SA drafted Robinson one year and Sean Elliot the next and they both came to their organization in the same year due to Robinson's military career. That was one serious shot in the arm for that team. Those two put SA in the elite for years before Duncan showed up.

With Yao Ming and T-Mac already locked up for years, I think Aldridge and V-Span could have the same effect if not a much bigger effect on the Rockets next year as Elliot and Robinson had with SA when they came into the league.

Not that I know of. You mostly have to go on reputation and stats. Based on the ONE game I watched and what I've read, he's the PG version of Marquis Daniels. Takes it to the rack at will, no outside shot, mostly ignores his teammates on his drives, and a little turnover prone when trying to make plays. They say he's a pesky on-the-ball defender, but I didn't see that. You could say he's Speedy Claxton with less playmaking ability.

My hunch is JVG would want to trade the pick for established player(s), but I do agree it could be a shot in the arm to a team that needs some younger guys around Yao and T-Mac. I'm not sold on V-Span yet, but he definitely should/could be on this 15-man roster right now ... that's for sure.

Perhaps Clutch......I wonder if the team regrets not bringing V-span over this year?
