i'm not a woman hater. let's assume such a story is true. let's assume it was understood that it was a casual relationship. i cannot understand how anyone can feel bad for the girl.

she sleeps with another guy. gets pregnant by said guy. then, tries to turn around and say it is someone else's in an attempt to have the baby "taken care of"?

to me, the guy covered his own ass (as he should), while the girl was looking for an easy out. i'll say the way he went about telling her was quite cold, but i bet she didn't think twice about screwing him over.

 

Allow me to play Devil's advocate. Assuming this actually happened as stated, it is possible that she might not have known who the father was for sure and hoped like hell it was the more stable guy. She therefore convinces herself that it must be the more suitable man who is indeed the father and when he rejects her (prior to dropping the bomb on her) that is why she acts so crazy. Then when he tells her he can't be the father she is crushed.

 

Still find it hilarious.

Sorry, but I really don't feel sorry for the woman, at all.

 

I have never been able to tell the difference before and after. You still shoot the batter, their are just no potential babies in it. Actual sperm is a very, very, very small percentage of what comes out.

 

She should have thought about that before casually sleeping with two different men. But alas, it happens all the time so I can see why she'd want to believe it was his. Point blank guy sicked because he withheld information and then made her feel even worse. I mean honestly its both their faults. Her's for plotting but also his for lying.

Which do you feel is worse? Trying to throw the responsibility of a child in someones lap when you aren't sure it was his (and withholding that information) or withholding information about a vasectomy that isn't really any of her business to begin with at that stage of a relationship? It isn't like they were in a committed relationship and were TRYING to have a baby but he didn't tell her so that he didn't have to have a baby with her.

They both suck. I think trying to trap a man is awful, but I also think he could have avoided the whole issue by telling the truth. I'm a big fan of full disclosure. If I'm having sex with you I wanna know whats going on. I guess I'd never lie and tell a guy I'm having a baby if I'm not sure its his. But then if I was I'd damn well know who the father of my child is. If we're just having casual sex I probably wouldn't even tell him I was pregnant in the first place. Well, I let him know as a courtesy but I wouldn't expect him to be around because really I don't need him if he's going to be a as*hole about it.

 

why is it important for him to disclose that he has a vasectomy?

It's important because if she'd known if the first place she'd never have tried trapping him in the first place. It is important because I want to know upfront what to expect from a guy. It's important because relationships change and I'd be pissed if we fell in love and then I discovered I can't have kids. In the grand scheme of things it might not really be important but it's something I'd want to know.
