If it was real:

The guy is a jerk for taking the fact that there is a baby involved so cavalierly

The woman is a jerk on so many levels - and obviously needs alot of help

The poor child -- enough said

 

Getting snipped is not that big of a deal. It doesn't hurt, you can't tell any difference, and you don't have to worry about it ever again.

But, you find nothing wrong with the man's reaction of going out of his way to plan an already poor(as in quality) person's degrading humiliation with giddyness and petty elation?

 

I don't at all. She was setting him up for 18 years of payments and commitment and everything else. She (if its even true) was conning the dude and doing everything she could to set herself up at his cost. **** her and all b****es like her. Women have zero to lose in situations like that when the man has everything to lose. It's bull****.

 

This story may not be.


But, it touches on interesting things about the real life battles between the sexes.. Just look at the reactions in favor of the man's actions in this story, almost resounding resent for women. Some going as far as pointing out how more likely, or how typically an actual woman is to behave just like the one this story. And how rightful and righteous was the man in his over-involved punishment of the woman, which was told to be a mere "casual relationship".

Then there's the double-standards part of it, "If a woman had done what the guy did to another guy, she'd be applauded by her fellow females." I mean, with the undertone of that quote you could replace "females" with "witches".

Two women have replied to this thread, one disapproves the actions of both parties, one only disapproves the actions of one side, and it's the girl's. Which is always interesting, I've known several girls that have always spoken ill of their own sex, yet have a guy's complaint, telling, "If a woman had done what the guy did here, she'd be applauded by other women." You hardly hear guy's question the behavior of their own gender. It's a disporportionate number of girls that do, to guys that do. I just always find it interestingly telling of our society.

After reading this thread and hearing yesterday that women are always going to be considered second class citizens I'm starting to think it may be true. Men have awful opinions of women.

Finalsbound, you should be ashamed of yourself. Yes the woman was wrong on so many levals but the guy was totally awful too. It sucks that you would place all the blame on the woman in this situation. It's quite true she was a b**** but the guy was a total ******* too. How nice that as a woman you seem to be content to let the guy off scot free will you condem another woman. And we wonder why women never get anything done. We're to got damn content to pick on each other than to hold everybody responsible for their actions.

Also keep in mind, this is just a basketball bbs so of course the internet testosterone is flowing. I'll bet very few people here are anything like they present themselves here, once you meet them in real life. Hell, if I was, I'd probably be locked up!

I meant of women in general. Yeah considering it was someone I think has a rather decent woman who said women are always gonna be viewed as second class, I'm not so sure about that. I think its a subconsciencous (sp?) thing that men have where they automatically think in the back of their minds that their better. But I dunno, I'm just making an assumption based on the guys I know.
